regina had her love ripped away from her and her son won’t love her no matter how hard she tries.
yet everyone feels bad for rumple and hates regina.
i don’t get it.
I’m not really aware of the general consensus but I really don’t believe Regina is more hated than Rumple. I can’t really believe that either is truly hated. It has now been revealed that, yes, Regina can be quite the bitch but ultimately, she would sacrifice her power for love. Conversely, Rumple is capable of human decency but ultimately, he would sacrifice love for power.
Personally, I find people who value love over power to be the more interesting & sympathetic characters.
